Regina King Wins Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’

The 91st Academy Awards just started and while we’re waiting for the rest of the winners, we have to give a special shout out to Regina King who took home the FIRST award of the night.

Regina won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘If Beale Street Could Talk,’

It’s her first Oscar and also her first nomination.
