It’s Official: Adele Sold 3.38 Million Copies of ’25’ in the U.S. This Week

After all the predictions and broken records, Adele has officially earned  her No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 3.38 million copies sold of 25 in its first week in the U.S.

This makes the largest sales week for an album since Nielsen began tracking point-of-sale music purchaes in 1991.

25 is also the first album to sell more than 3 million copies in a week in Nielsen history, and only the second to sell over 2 million in the same time frame.

Congrats to Adele!
