Iman Omari is a 23-year old Los Angeles-based composer, producer, writer and singer.
He first hit the scene in 2011 with his debut album Energy. His trippy use of melodic vocals combined with jazz, hip-hop, soul and R&B garnered him a pretty sizable fan base and now he’s back with his second album, (Vibe)rations.
As a self-proclaimed hip-hop lover, he has produced tracks for numerous prominent artist including Pac Div, Cam Meekins, Mac Miller, Over Doz, Sabi and Ty $. His unique sound made way for him to land co-production credits on Kendrick Lamar’s 2011 critically acclaimed Section 80 mixtape.
(Vibe)rations just dropped in stores on July 9th, so take a listen to “Testify,” one of our favorite tracks from the album.
