Jennifer Hudson chose not only to pay homage to Whitney Houston through song, but she also decided to take it a step further and re-create one of Whitney’s stage outfits for “We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston” that took place Thursday night.
The CBS one-hour special will air on November 16th. She performed a medley of “I’m Every Woman,” “How Will I Know” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
Jenny chose one of Whitney’s performance ensembles from 1987 consisting of a black turtleneck, shoulder-padded blazer, high-waisted jeans and pointy-toe booties. She even spruced it up with curly hair, a hot pink lip, and bright blue nails.
