‘Drag Race’ Contestant Speaks On Gay Porn Past

The scandal is lighting up and the season just started!

The season five premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race was last night and we were introduced to 14 competing queens vying for that title of America’s Next Drag Superstar! The real scandal was off-screen though we the porn-past of one of the contestants was revealed earlier this week.

Jade Jolie, 25, was outed as having a history in the gay porn industry as “Tristan Everhard”. It is unknown if producers knew about Jade (real name Josh Green)’s past in the X-rated films at the time of casting.

When questioned about her past at the season five premiere party in New York, Jade had this to say:

“Who knew I was going to have two premieres in one week? [laughs] You know as far as that goes – I’m never going to regret anything I had to do. I had to make life decisions when I was young – to get by, y’know to get where I am now. Just don’t ever give up on yourself and don’t let anyone get you down. You can come from somewhere like that and be where I am now.”

That’s a really positive outlook. I applaud you Ms. Jolie.
