YG and DJ Mustard’s working relationship may have just come to an end.
The rapper and the producer took their beef public via Instagram — and we’re not sure why.
If you didn’t know, DJ Mustard produced YG’s debut album, My Krazy Life. DJ Mustard pretty much produced everything that was hot on urban radio in 2014 (‘mustard on the beat, hoe’).
According to DJ Mustard, he has yet to be paid for his work on YG’s album. He apparently got frustrated with people asking him about YG, so he told his fans to stop asking because he hasn’t even been paid for the first album.
“I still ain’t got paid for his album! So I don’t give a fuck!!!!” he posted.
That’s when YG posted a screenshot of Mustard’s post and popped back.
He wrote:
WAIT WHAT? DJ MUSTARD FUCK YOU NIGGA. FUCK EVERYBODY THATT AINT GOT PAID FOR MY ALBUM AND DJ MUSTARD I KNOW WHERE YO STUDIO AT NIGGA. & THATS ME SAYIN ‘MUSTARD ON THE BEAT HOE.’ YOU AINT NEVER PAID ME FOR THATT OR YO ALBUM NIGGA.”
Mustard responded with plans to meet up:
“Say no mo I ain’t for no sucka shit and this internet shit weak we can get down this won’t be the first time. I’m finna pull up we can squabble up !!! See yo in 30 killa.”
YG followed up with another screenshot:
