The action-packed trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence premiered online this afternoon.
The sequel to the 1996 blockbuster film Independence Day stars Survivor’s Remorse leading man Jessie Usher.
Fans of the original film will be disappointed to learn that Will Smith’s character Captain Steven Hiller was killed in a 2007 accident and will not reprise his role in the heavily anticipated sequel. Vivica A. Fox, Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman will reprise their roles, however.
Independence Day: Resurgence is scheduled for theatrical release on June 24, 2016.
