Luptia Nyong’o has some of the most beautiful skin we’ve ever seen — which is why it’s perfect that the newest face of Lancôme helped everyone’s red furry muppet Elmo learn about his own skin and teach children about the beauty of loving the skin they’re in.
In the clip, the two discover how skin protects the body, helps us touch, and how it can also be ticklish.
Elmo: ‘Elmo sees that Miss Lupita’s skin is a beautiful brown color,’ says Elmo.
Lupita: ‘That’s the thing I love most about skin, Elmo. Skin comes in lots of beautiful shades and colors.’
E: ‘[My] skin is a beautiful red. You know what, Lupita? Elmo loves the skin he’s in.’
L: ‘Me too. I love my skin!’
A great lesson for all of us. No matter what age — you have to learn love the skin you’re in!
