Now that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have gone completely public with their budding relationship, Ellen DeGeneres got right down to the questioning when J. Lo stopped by her show.
Ellen asked how it all came to be and Jennifer recalled how they met during a lunch outing.

The pop star revealed she initiated the conversation with the former Yankees slugger that led to him asking her on their first date.
“It’s very simple. I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him. He passed by,” Lopez said in a segment on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airing Monday.
“Afterwards I went outside, but for some reason I felt like tapping him on the shoulder and said, ‘Hi.'”
From there, A-Rod revealed he was living in Los Angeles, and he later made plans to grab a bite with the “On The Floor” singer.
“He texted me, said, ‘Let’s go out to dinner,’ and I said, ‘OK,'” Lopez told host Ellen DeGeneres. “We had a nice dinner.”
While Jennifer’s story sounds uneventful, we couldn’t stop laughing at how Ellen tried to get ALL the tea during the interview.
