Uh Oh: Is Fantasia’s New Man Kendall Taylor a Convicted Felon? [Photos]

Yesterday we introduced you to Fantasia’s new man, Kendall Taylor.

At first glance he looks to be a real winner, he was honored as 2014’s Pride MBE of Distinction Winner at this year’s Lowe’s Pride Awards and belongs to several community groups including Men Who Care Global, a mentoring organization for young black men.

Did you know that he’s also a convicted felon?

Yes, that’s a mugshot of Fantasia’s new man.

A love muffin tipped us off about Mr. Taylor’s criminal past, so we did a little digging and here’s what we came up with.

He’s been convicted of a few things, including assault on a female and felonious possession of a weapon — with his most recent arrest being in January 2012 for failure to pay child support.

From what we’ve gathered, he’s never actually done time behind bars — just probation and community service.

It does appear that in recent years he’s been able to turn his life around — which is great, but hopefully Fantasia is well aware of her man’s past patterns of behavior.
