Trina Responds to Khia’s Hits Battle Challenge: ‘Make Sure You Have Enough Records’ [Video]

If you were one of the few people on the internet hoping for a Trina vs. Khia ‘Verzuz’ battle — you can forget it.

Trina addressed Khia’s recent ‘Verzuz’ battle challenge on her Trick N Trina Morning Show with Trick Daddy…and she’s not having.

“Everybody knows me, I’m a queen. This is called ‘royalty’ over here,” Trina said, Wednesday. “I’m not stepping off my throne to address no bum, no chicks that are beneath me and nobody that’s not worked as hard as I’ve worked for anything. So when you girls or whatever you want to be are calling my name talking ’bout you want to battle, make sure you have 10 hits. Make sure you have enough records. Make sure you’re on my level if you think you can go toe-to-toe with me because you can not.”

The clip that has Trina up in arms is from April in which Khia brings Trina’s name up re: hits.

“Who wanna try me like that?” Khia said during the conversation before mentioning Trina. “I got 285 hits to put on your ass.”

Khia’s issues with Trina reportedly started after the success of Trina’s 2000 single “Da Baddest Bitch.” According to Khia, she wrote the record for Trina and never received credit.
