Earlier this month, lovebscott.com gave you exclusive tea about what’s going on with ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ ahead of season 12.
If you recall, we revealed that Kandi Burruss said both publicly and privately that she would quit the show if Phaedra Parks’ returned.
In a new interview with The Breakfast Club, Kandi Burruss confirmed our account — admitting that she DID threaten to quit if Phaedra came back and offered and explanation as to why.
“Did I say that to anybody? Yes I did. Basically, I just kind of feel like — in real life, right, if someone says that you tried to drug somebody and sexually assault them and it comes back that person was lying on you — would you want to work with that person?” said Kandi.
She continued,
“That’s kind of scary to me. Let’s say for instance, in the future when things are happening — you don’t even know why it’s happening — only to find out [there’s] a person off in the corner that’s been doing all these things….”
“That can happen again and they can do it better next time because then they know not to tell anybody else that really can let the cat out of the bag.”
Not only did lovebscott.com give you exclusive cast details for next season, but we also reported that NeNe Leakes is the main one advocating for Phaedra’s return in response to the fact Kenya Moore will once again hold a peach next season.
Because of Kandi’s stance, however, Phaedra won’t be holding anyone’s peach anytime soon.
