Surfer Mick Fanning Escapes Shark Attack Broadcast Live on TV in South Africa [Video]

Australian surfer Mick Fanning is incredibly lucky after surviving a shark attack that was broadcast live on television.

Mick was competing at the J-Bay Open Final in South Africa when a large fin emerged from the water (apparently, there were two sharks involved).

In the video, you see Mick begin to kick wildly and momentarily go underwater as boats rush to his aid.

Thankfully, Mick was uninjured during the attack.

Needless to say, the J-Bay Open Final was called off.
