Style File: Ashanti Makes The Promo Rounds In NYC [Photos + Video]

R&B Singer, Ashanti, is back into the swing of things with a new role on the Lifetime TV show ‘Army Wives’, and prepping for her summer album release entitled ‘Braveheart’. Ashanti was out in NYC this week doing media and press for both projects, and we have to ask… Do You Hate Ashanti’s looks or Do you Love Them?

Let us break the outfits down for you… first, Ashanti stopped by VH1’s ‘Big Morning Buzz Live’ in an interesting black and white look! She was brave enough to mix these prints and pieces from Balmain and Givenchy.  She rocked a $917 Balmain printed ‘long sleeve baseball top’,  $2051 Balmain ‘Printed Harem Trousers’, and Givenchy ‘Check Embossed Lace-Up Ankle Boots’. Whew… there is a lot going on here in this one outfit!

Then, today Ashanti switched it up completely, as she looked very classy while out and about in New York City walking her cutesy wootsy doggies after chatting it up on NYC’s NBC 4, wearing a $390 black Halo Francisca Dress and nude colored pumps, with oversized earrings.
