Mary J. Blige and Angela Basset bring back to life two of the most powerful women in our history. Starring in the new Lifetime television film, “Betty & Coretta”, Blige and Bassett portray the real story of two women (wives of Malcolm X & Martin Luther King Jr) who found friendship in the midst of tragedies. With this year marking the 50th anniversary of the “March on Washington”, it seems only fitting that “Betty & Coretta” would release Feb.2, right in time for Black History Month. Check out the video below for a sneak peak and don’t forget to tune in to Lifetime Feb. 2 at 8pm.
