Shonda Rhimes & Her Leading Ladies Kerry Washington & Viola Davis Attend GLAAD Media Awards [Photos]

The 26th GLAAD Media Awards were held in Beverly Hills, California, last night, and Shonda Rhimes and #TGIT’s leading ladies were among the guests and honorees in attendance.

Kerry Washington was presented with the Vanguard Award and arrived at the event in a plunging burgundy and purple gown.

Viola Davis was a vision in white and attended the event with her How to Get Away with Murder co-stars.

How to Get Away with Murder later took home the prize for Outstanding Drama Series.

Outstanding Individual Episode: “Identity Crisis”, Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime)
Outstanding TV Movie or Mini-series: The Normal Heart (HBO)
Outstanding Music Artist: Against Me!, Transgender Dysphoria Blues (Xtra Mile Recordings)
Outstanding Daily Drama: Days of Our Lives (NBC)
Outstanding Comic Book: Rat Queens, written by Kurtis J. Wiebe (Image Comics)
Outstanding Digital Journalism Article: “31 Days of PrEP” series (advocate.com)
Outstanding Blog: Autostraddle, autostraddle.com
