Bow Wow won’t be going to the polls on November 8th to vote in this year’s election.
Why? Because he doesn’t feel a connection with the Civil Rights movement that made it so he has the option. According to Bow Wow, the outcome of that movement doesn’t apply to him because he’s ‘mixed.’
In a Twitter exchange with fans about politics, Bow Wow said that while he’s seen ‘Selma,’ his ‘heritage is different’ because members in his family are white and native american. He simply can’t relate to the Black struggle.
He even shared a photo of his dad to prove his ‘mixed-ness” (above). See his tweets below.
