A Queens karaoke bar with no liquor license and full of nearly 200 people, many without masks, was shut down early Sunday by city sheriffs.

Deputy sheriffs raided Home Run KTV on Kissena Blvd. in Flushing just after midnight, arresting the owner, Patrick Yam, 44, of Cliffside Park, N.J., and an unlicensed bouncer, Yunkun Zhu, 29, of Flushing, authorities said.
The deputy sheriffs found just one entrance for the bar, and 192 people inside a warren of rooms drinking, smoking and flouting social-distancing rules, authorities said.
The bar’s liquor license expired in March, records show, and deputy sheriffs seized a “significant inventory of alcoholic beverages,” city Sheriff Joe Fucito said.
Yam and Zhu were issued desk appearance tickets for a variety of state liquor-law infractions, and for violating a mayoral executive order. The patrons were all given masks and booted.
The raid came less than 24 hours after deputy sheriffs shut down a Lower East Side karaoke bar with 78 people inside. Sheriffs hit the owner of K-One Karaoke Bar on Bowery St. and an unlicensed bouncer with charges in that bust as well.
200 people thought risking their lives was worth going out and listen to people’s struggle vocals.
That bar should be shut down permanently.
