Rumor Has It: Beyoncé Is in Final Negotiations to Voice ‘Nala’ in Disney’s ‘Lion King’ Remake + Will Executive Produce the Soundtrack

Just a few days after it was reported that Beyoncé is gearing up to release a ‘Formation’ tour documentary and concert special, the same source now says that Beyoncé is in final talks to join Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ remake.

Back in March, it was rumored that director Jon Favreau was interested in having Bey voice Nala in the film.

According to new reports, Beyoncé is nearing a $25 million film to take the role AND produce the film’s soundtrack. Not only that, but she’ll also record a few ‘African-inspired’ songs for the film.
