Rachel Dolezal wants you to know that despite everything you’ve seen on the Internet, despite what her own biological parents say, despite your own ability to interpret and analyze facts — she’s still a Black woman.
She gave an interview to Sky News in response to the initial article that questioned her racial identity and she says: “I don’t give two shits what you guys think.”
Rachel went on tell the white reporter that it’s more important for her to clarify this with the Black community than it is to “explain it to a community that I, quite frankly, don’t think really understands the definitions of race and ethnicity” — which basically means, ‘You white people just don’t understand me.’.
Well, hopefully she’s not still expecting the Black community to ‘understand’ — especially after the hilarious #AskRachel hashtag that took over Twitter today.
