Lenny Kravitz tried to do something nice for residents in the Bahamas by sponsoring a free dental clinic, but police weren’t having it.

“The dentists literally had to run out the back door to escape being arrested,” one source told me exclusively.
The “Fly Away” singer and “Hunger Games” actor is a longtime resident of Gregory Town on the island of Eleuthera, and his Let Love Rule Foundation has quietly contributed to local charitable programs.
Kravitz flew several American dentists there for the four-day clinic, but evidently didn’t get all the permits required.
On Monday, the last day of the program, as local residents were being fitted for dentures and having root canals, police and immigration officials burst in “and gave the team working 15 minutes to pack up all the equipment and leave,” the Eleutheran newspaper reported.
Despite things not working out, Lenny’s heart was in the right place.
