One of the two protesters who were injured after a car drove through the small crowd over the weekend is now dead.
24-year-old Summer Taylor died in the hospital Saturday night from her injuries.
The other protester who was injured, Diaz Love, is in serious condition and remains in the ICU.
As for the driver, Dawit Kelete, he has been arrested and charged with 2 counts of vehicular assault.
His charges haven’t been updated since Summer’s passing, but at this point he should be facing some type of homicide charge.
