Newsweek Dubs Obama ‘The First Gay President’ [Photo]

President Obama’s open support for marriage equality has drawn the attention of the world. Newsweek has taken it a step further and labeled Obama as ‘The First Gay President’.

The President sports a rainbow halo as he covers the May 2012 issue of Newsweek. While President Obama and Joe Biden have both expressed support for same-sex marriages, some are saying the cover takes things a bit too far, citing that the President is indeed a married, heterosexual male with two children — not gay.

Do you think it’s a clever play on words? Or do you find it misleading? Read more on the cover story here.
