NeNe Leakes is speaking out against her Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members and letting everyone know who she feels should be able to hold a Georgia peach.
Mrs. Leakes has always been vocal about being the last remaining original ‘housewife’ left on the Atlanta franchise and now says that being a housewife should be a requirement for staying on the show.
She dished to Live With Kelly and Michael:
“I think that over the years the show has become very negative and there has been some people thrown in the mix that come negative and made the show negative so I think they should recast,” says NeNe. “I don’t mind if there’s one girl, maybe two girls, that aren’t married because it’s always great to see a single girl like dating and all that kind of stuff. But to have as many girls as we have on our show that aren’t married. I think we need to get rid of a couple.”
It’s easy to see that this is a direct jab at Kenya Moore and newbie Claudia Jordan. We’d quickly lump newly-divorced Porsha Williams into that circle, but at this point she’s just a ‘friend of the show’ anyway.
We do wonder if NeNe would feel the same about her friend, the possibly soon-to-be divorced Phaedra Parks. Surely NeNe wouldn’t want to take a good paying gig away from a newly single mother, right?
