Free from Disney at last!
After years of being signed with the Disney-owned Hollywood Records, and working on a brand new album the past year independently, Billboard is reporting that after being a free agent the past 3 years, Miley has signed with RCA Records and will be releasing her fourth studio album this year.
The 20-year old singer has been working with the likes of Pharell, Da Internz, Dr. Luke and even Tyler The Creator for new cuts on the album and promises an edgier, more ‘grown-up’ sound blending her love of hip-hop, country, indie and pop music.
Miley’s last album ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ was released on Hollywood Records and sold less than 350,000 copies in the US, so here’s to hoping that Miley can come back out on top with some hits!
