Back in December, a judge found Meek Mill guilty of violating his probation.
The rapper was sentenced today and was facing jail time. The judge ordered 6 to 12 months in county jail, but said he can spend that time on house arrest.
The judge will re-evaluate after 90 days to determine how much longer he’ll remain under house arrest.
His sentence begins March 1st.
While under house arrest, he’s unable to do any ‘work’ — just charity work. That means no albums, no mixtapes, no performing, etc.
After that, he’ll be on probation for another six years.
