Lupita Nyong’o and Kristen Stewart are among the big names being discussed to star in the Elizabeth Banks-directed ‘Charlie’s Angels’ reboot.
The film is currently set for a 2019 release.
‘Charlie’s Angels’ first had a five-season television run on ABC from September 22, 1976 to June 24, 1981. It was later given the big screen treatment in 2000, with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu playing the Angels.
The success of the film spawned a sequel in 2003 that wasn’t as well received.
