Lil Nas X Delays Concert to Poop Backstage: ‘I’m Dropping Demons’ [Video]

Lil Nas X has no problem telling his fans his more personal business.

On Thursday, the rapper got on the mic backstage during his concert in Atlanta to let everyone know he needed a quick break to take a sh*t.

via Page Six:

“I’m backstage, and this is, like, not a part of the show, but I’m taking a mean s–t, so please forgive me,” the rapper said, noting that he only needed “a minute or two” on the toilet.

“I’ll be right back,” the Grammy winner, 23, promised in a viral video filmed by an audience member.

On Friday, the songwriter took to Twitter to clarify that he wasn’t kidding about delaying to drop a deuce.

“lmao people really thought i was joking,” he tweeted. “i was literally back there dropping demons into that toilet.”

The “Old Town Road” singer began his “Long Live Montero” tour last month, making headlines for his reaction to “street ministry” protesters outside of his Boston show on Sept. 18.

“So peopel [sic] were protesting my concert last night,” Lil Nas X wrote via TikTok. “So we brought them pizza.”

The American Music Award winner went on to write that “one of the homophobes was hot” and he “accidentally fell in love with one of the homophobic protestors.”

Lil Nas X, who came out in June 2019, has dealt with hate and online bullying over his sexuality.

In March 2021, he defended the “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” video in which he twerked on Satan, tweeting that he did not want to “cater to” children with his work.

“There is a mass shooting every week that our government does nothing to stop,” he tweeted at the time. “me sliding down a cgi pole isn’t what’s destroying society.

“i spent my entire teenage years hating myself because of the s–t y’all preached would happen to me because i was gay,” the musician continued. “so i hope u are mad, stay mad, feel the same anger you teach us to have towards ourselves.”

Amid the controversy, Adam Lambert, Elizabeth Banks, FKA Twigs and more celebrities praised the daring music video.

Listen — when you gotta go, you gotta go!
