Kylie Jenner took to Instagram to show off her hair — which was all braided up from being underneath a wig the night before.
It wasn’t long before she received a bunch of criticism from fans and non-fans alike for the appropriation of the ‘Black hairstyle’.
Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg used the opportunity to blast Kylie for failing to use her ‘position of power’ to bring attention to issues facing the Black community.
She left a comment under Kylie’s photo that reads:
when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter
Kylie eventually clapped back, bringing her ex-boo Jaden Smith into the mix. She wrote:
