Kim Kardashian took to social media to share a short clip of her 8-month-old son Saint West laughing and having fun.
The clip comes just a day after Kim took the stage at the BlogHer 16 conference in Los Angeles where she explained why she decided to keep her son so private for so long. She told BlogHer co-founder and SheKnows Media’s Chief Community Officer Elisa Camahort Page, that she wanted her son to have his privacy.
“I definitely am really protective of my life with the kids. You might see them on [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] a little bit, but not real stories about them… We just don’t make stories—Kourtney and I don’t makes stories really around our children. They’ll be there but if anything that’s a benefit because we get to spend more time with them,” said Kim.
She added, “So truly, I was not posting about my son because I wanted him to be able to go to the park every single day like a normal human being and nobody knows who he is… He’s eight months old now, and people thought he didn’t exist. People thought I had a whole fake baby and I made this whole thing up because I wasn’t posting about it. And to me, that’s so ridiculous.”
Ridiculous, indeed.
