Kim Kardashian has taken a page from Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s book and found herself in the middle of a racial controversy.

To catch you up to speed, makeup guru and beauty blogger Jeffree Star has engaged in repeated racist behavior since rising to fame from Myspace back in the day. There are even video clips of him berating and calling Black women the n-word circulating social media.
While *most* of the racist behavior was years ago, Jeffree has repeatedly apologized and swears he’s a different person. Earlier this year, Kim invited Jeffree to her KKW Beauty launch and people were — as expected — upset.
How can a woman with a Black husband and Black kids associate with a known racist (even though he apologized)?
Fast forward to last night, Kim took to Snapchat to ask her fans stop being ‘petty’ and bringing up Jeffree’s past. She said that she believes people can change forgives Jeffree for his racist past.
“Guys, like, I see you being so petty, bringing up things in his past where he was negative,” said Kim. “But he’s also apologized for those things and I get that it’s a serious deal if you say like racial things but I do believe in people changing and people that apologize, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.”
“I know better than anyone that I hate when people bring up my past or mistakes that I’ve made in the past so like, let him live. I welcome honest comments about my products and because of it, I’m swatching better now.”
“So everyone get off his a**,” she added. “Let’s not be so negative, we’re all in this together. There’s room for all of us. Love you Jeffree!”
The only problem is that Kim, as a non-Black woman, isn’t in the position to accept ANYONE’s apology for racism. Furthermore, Jeffree only apologized once his career reached a certain height because of the backlash — not because he was genuinely sorry.
One look at Kim’s comments or mentions on social media and you’ll find lots of angry fans letting her know exactly how they feel.
Kim — we love you girl, but you definitely missed the mark with this one. We have NO time for past, present, or future racism…and neither do your two Black children.
