Did Jennifer Lopez take a dig at Nicki Minaj? Or was it all in good fun?
Last night on American Idol, Nicki Minaj took to the stage to perform her latest single, “Starships”. After the performance, she told the audience how she wants to come back as a judge.
I was hoping maybe I could come back and be a guest judge,” Minaj said looking straight at the Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson. “J-Lo, can you scoot over a little bit?”
JLo, who was eyeing Minaj carefully, shot back: “I don’t know if there’s enough room for both of us.”
Nicki cleared up the supposed beef backstage:
“She didn’t seem to be having it but she gonna have it!” Minaj told The Hollywood Reporter backstage, conceding: “No, actually, I love J-Lo. I love what she’s done for pop culture I have nothing but respect for her and we were just joking around. I’m sure I’ll have lots of fun with them when I’m guest judging.”
