‘How to Get Away with Murder’ star Karla Souza is a new mom.
The 32-year-old actress surprised fans Thursday night when she Instagrammed a photo of herself well into her pregnancy, writing in English and Spanish, “So I have something to share with you guys ?.”
Immediately after that tease, she shared a picture of her newborn baby girl, writing, “God blessed us ??.”
Karla and husband Marshall Trenkmann named their daughter Gianna. She is their first child.
“The last nine months have been nothing short of a miracle … We welcome our healthy baby girl Gianna, and we couldn’t feel more blessed in this moment,” she wrote in her Instagram story.
The news came as a surprise to just about everyone. While was active on social media during her pregnancy, the photos were either from the HTGAWM set (where her character was pregnant) or they were cropped above the stomach.
