Future Scores His First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart

Releasing Dirty Sprite 2 with little warning seems to have paid off.

It took three tries, but Future has finally scored his first number one album on the Billboard 200.

In its first week of release, Dirty Sprite 2 earned 147,000 equivalent album units (121,000 in pure album sales) to land at number one.

Even more impressive, Dirty Sprite 2‘s first week sales significantly outperformed the first week bows of Pluto (41,000 copies) and 2014’s Honest (53,000 copies).

Congratulations, Future!
