First Look: Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, Terrence Howard Star in Lee Daniels’ ‘The Butler’ [Trailer]

The first trailer for the highly anticipated film The Butler has been released.

Filmed in New Orleans, the Lee Daniels-directed film tells the story of Eugene Allen (played by Forest Whitaker), who served under eight presidents during his 1952-1986 stint as the White House butler.

In addition to Forest Whitaker, the film stars Oprah Winfrey, Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey, Jesse Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr.

Check out the first official trailer below. The Butler hits theaters October 18th.
