That Was Fast: Georgia School Lifts Suspension of Teen Who Shared Crowded Hallway Photo

Hannah Watters, a student at North Paulding High School who shared a photo of her school’s crowded hallway amid the COVID-19 pandemic, just announced her suspension has been lifted.

North Paulding High School hit Hannah with a 5-day suspension for posting that photo because it allegedly violated the school’s social media policy.

Apparently the school had a change of heart after news of Hannah’s suspension made headlines.

“My school called and they have deleted my suspension,” Hannah tweeted.

Good for her. We’re assuming the other student’s suspension was lifted as well.
