End of an Era? Lil Wayne Says He Wants to Leave Cash Money, Says Baby Refuses to Release ‘The Carter V’

For as long as we can remember, the name Lil Wayne and Cash Money have been synonymous. However, it looks like that association may be coming to an end.

Weezy took to Twitter to blast the label for refusing to release his album. Considering how deeply personal his relationship with the label and label head Baby has always been — this isn’t your average label/artist feud. Wayne signed with Cash Money Records when he was 11 years old and has been rocking with them ever since.

He tweeted:

It looks like fellow Young Money/Cash Money rapper Tyga may have actually been onto something.
