Dr. Dre Suffers Brain Aneurism, Rushed to L.A. Hospital — Currently in ICU

Dr. Dre is currently at Cedars Sinai Medical Center after suffering a brain aneurysm.

According to sources, he suffered the aneurysm Monday and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars and was taken directly to ICU. 

He’s been in ICU since.

He is said to be stable and lucid while doctors are still running tests to determine the cause.

The medical emergency comes as Dr. Dre is in a tense legal battle with his ex-wife over the terms of their divorce.

There’s a hearing for their divorce Wednesday in downtown L.A., but clearly Dr. Dre won’t be able to attend.

Dr. Dre Denies Estranged Wife Nicole Young’s Abuse Allegations in Court

Dr. Dre is denying allegations of abuse set forth by estranged wife Nicole Young.

According to court documents obtained by Daily Mail, Dre filed a lengthy declaration in his nasty ongoing divorce with Nicole. In the filing, the music mogul responded to the accusations telling the court, “‘Her recent assertions of fear or abuse and having been coerced or controlled by me are not supported by any evidence other than her say-so and are not credible to anyone who has ever encountered my wife or seen us together.”

In his declaration, Dre also revealed he spent an intimate night with his wife after their split. He recalled the night in an effort to show Nicole didn’t fear being around him after they broke up.

Dre claims Nicole invited him over to have dinner on their anniversary a couple of months after ending things. He says they were intimate with each other that evening. Dre said, “I accepted this invitation. We celebrated our anniversary and we had dinner together and I spent the night with her.”

He added, “She was not and is not afraid of me and her allegations to the contrary are pure fabrication created post-divorce filing…….”

He also told the court after Nicole moved out of their home they “continued to speak, socialize and to see each other thereafter.”

In the court documents filed by Dre, he attached an emotional email Nicole sent him days after they had a conversation about ending their marriage.

She wrote to him, ‘In my heart and my gut, I know that you are with other people. ‘I’m sure I don’t have to tell you the incredible amount of hurt and pain I am in knowing you are not faithful…”

As The Blast previously reported, earlier this year, Nicole filed for divorce from Dre following 24 years of marriage. In her petition, Nicole did not mention a prenuptial agreement being signed. She said they did sign one before getting hitched but said Dre tore it up years into their marriage.

Dre fired back saying he never tore up their prenup and asked the court to enforce the terms in the divorce. He recently presented a copy of the alleged agreement.
