Dr. Dre Asks Judge to Declare Him Single Amid Contentious Divorce

Dr. Dre is ready to move on with his life and is asking for a judge to legally declare him single — even though his divorce is still ongoing.

His attorney , Laura Wasser, has filed legal documents requesting a bifurcation of the divorce. This will allow for Dre and Nicole Young to be single in the eyes of the law while they continue to divide assets.

In the documents, Dre says Nicole’s “false allegations of domestic violence” have pushed their separation past the point of no return and that she’s delaying the divorce on purpose.

Nicole’s also filed a motion asking for access to their home amid suspicions of a mistress, and Dre’s accused her of siphoning money from one of their business accounts.

We hope they get divorced soon — because we’re tired of hearing about it.
