‘Django Unchained’ is Quentin Tarantino’s Most Successful Domestic Film

Whether you loved it or hated it, it isn’t stopping Quentin Tarantino from earning a boatload of money from Django Unchained.

Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchainedhas become the filmmaker’s top-grossing film at the North America with a current total of nearly $130 million, eclipsing the $120 million earned domestically byInglourious Basterds in 2009.

Django — starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph WaltzLeonardo DiCaprio,Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson — has yet to make a major push overseas. Inglourious Basterds took in $200.9 million internationally for a worldwide total of $321.5 million.
