Last week, former NBA player Dennis Rodman visited North Korea with a few members of the Harlem Globe Trotters. By pure happenstance, Rodman ended up meeting with the leader of the Korean government, Kim Jong Un.
As you might expect, the pairing of Rodman and Jong Un has been quite controversial, especially since Rodman claims that the two are “friends.” He’s also stated that Jong Un is a “good guy,” which is puzzling because he’s complimenting a leader that’s a known oppressor of the citizens in his country.
