Demi Lovato Officially Returning To ‘The X Factor’

It’s official love muffins! Demi is back!

Demi Lovato, who served as a judge last year on Fox’s The X Factor has officially signed on for season three of the competition show. Lovato will once again serve as a judge alongside creator and producer Simon Cowell. Last year, Britney Spears and LA Reid also sat alongside Demi and Simon, but replacements have yet to be announced for either.

“I am so excited to return as a judge and mentor on The X Factor,” added Lovato in a statement. “Last season was an unbelievable experience and I really enjoyed developing personal relationships with the contestants and the panel. I look forward to taking my previous experience and applying it to make this season even better!”

“I couldn’t be happier that Demi wants to come back this year,” said Cowell in a statement. “She’s a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year. Even though she can be really, really annoying – I truly enjoyed working with her and so did the artists. I’m especially pleased she’s back even during her world tour!”

Currently, Ne-Yo, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Cheryl Cole, John Mayer and Diddy are all rumored to be in the running to replace Britney & LA. Although it was originally reported that Khloe Kardashian would not be returning as host, Fox has denied those claims leaving her future with the show unclear.
