Future dropped a surprise mixtape last night and fans think his timing may have something to do with Ciara and Russell Wilson.
The project, BEASTMODE 2, is a sequel to Future and Zaytoven’s 2015 mixtape and was supposed to drop on July 4th.
Somehow it ended up releasing on July 6th — which also happened to be his ex Ciara and Russell Wilson’s wedding anniversary.
As for how the project’s release ended up from being the 4th to the 6th is a mystery, however Complex reached out to Zaytoven’s rep who said they were “told it would release at midnight on Thursday,” before admitting “I was incorrect.”
We don’t know whether Future decided to change the date because of Ciara and Russell or not — but it’s certainly an interesting coincidence.
