Chrissy Teigen continues to prove why she just might be one of the ‘realest’ celebrities around.
The model sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and the two ended up on the subject of the new house she and husband John Legend recently moved into — a house that was previously owned by Rihanna.
“It actually used to be Rihanna’s house,” said Chrissy. “I never in my life thought I’d be cool enough to have a Rihanna pad ever. It’s hysterical.”
Ellen was curious to know if Rihanna found any of Rihanna’s left-behind possessions when she moved in.
“Trust me, I looked,” Chrissy replied. “The one fun thing that does happen every once in a while is I get a bill of hers. I really want to somehow give it back to her. I tried to bring it to the Grammys but John was like ‘No! That doesn’t look cool! Please don’t. You’re embarrassing me.'”
What would we do if we had some of Rihanna’s mail? We’d probably open it out of curiosity…and that’s exactly what Chrissy did.
“It’s my house now!” said Chrissy, adding the fact she’s also opened up fan mail and one of Rih’s Bugatti bills for $18. “Can you not? Are we going to edit this? This is why I can never run for president!”
