Beyoncé on Her Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance: ‘I Wanted People to Feel Proud’ [Video]

Entertainment Tonight caught up with Beyoncé backstage after the Super Bowl 50 halftime show where she offered a few thoughts on her performance.

“It makes me proud,” Beyonce told ET’s Kevin Frazier.

For Beyonce, “Formation” is more than just another song — she wants it to have a positive impact on her fans’ lives.

“I wanted people to feel proud,” Beyonce said of the new single, “and have love for themselves.”
