Beyoncé Edges Out Dolly Parton to Become the Most Grammy Nominated Woman in History

Beyoncé has become the most Grammy nominated woman in history!

Earlier today, Bey earned her 51st Grammy nomination for the 57th Grammy Awards.

Bey earned nods for best urban contemporary album and best Surround Sound album for “Beyoncé,” best R&B performance and best R&B song for “Drunk in Love” with husband Jay-Z; and best music film for “Beyoncé & Jay Z: On The Run Tour.”

Beyoncé is now just behind Kanye West (53) for seventh place overall. Quincy Jones has the most at 79 nominations; Jay-Z has 60.

Previously, she and Dolly Parton were tied with 46 nominations.

Out of those 51, Bey’s won a total of 17…so far.
