Bella Hadid Admits She Cries Pretty Much ‘Everyday’ and Every Night’

Bella Hadid took to Instagram to share that she has cried almost “everyday” and “every night” for the past few years.

Posting several photos of herself in tears on Tuesday, the supermodel reminded her followers that social media is not real life.

“For anyone struggling, please remember that. Sometimes all you’ve gotta hear is that you’re not alone,” she wrote in a lengthy caption. “So from me to you, you’re not alone. I love you, I see you, and I hear you.”

The 25-year-old continued, telling fans that mental health and chemical imbalance is not “linear,” comparing it to a roller coaster with “ups and downs” and “side to sides.”

“There is always light at the end of the tunnel , and the rollercoaster always comes to a complete stop at some point…[but] it does get better,” she continued.

Hadid also wrote that she’s had “enough breakdowns and burnouts” to know that “if you work hard enough on yourself, spending time alone to understand your traumas, triggers, joys, and routine, you will always be able to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to handle it. Which is all that you can ask of yourself.”

The star ended her post by thanking her fans for listening to her share her truth.

In January, Hadid — who has been open in the past about struggling with severe depression and anxiety since she was a teenager — took a short break from social media to focus on her mental health.

“I am only here to be an instrument of peace & love to help people that suffer and hopefully the world, in time,” she captioned a series of photos via Instagram. “Take time to get help for your mental health. It’s worth it to get to your full potential.”
