André 3000 Joins ABC’s ‘American Crime’ Season Two, Will Star Opposite Regina King

André Benjamin (most commonly known as André 3000) has joined the season two cast of ABC’s anthology crime drama series American Crime.

He will star opposite season one cast member Regina King.

Per TV Line:

Benjamin will play architect Michael Lacroix, who is married to Regina King’s Terri. According to Ridley, “They have both the financial means, as well as the acumen needed to fiercely defend their son when he becomes entangled in a scandal at an elite private school.”

While American Crime‘s first season primarily focused on issues of racial politics and faith, season two will tackle gender identity, sexual orientation and more.

American Crime‘s freshman season received 10 2015 Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

Welcome back to television, André!
