Adam Housely Under Fire for Racist Comments Made About Travyon Martin in the Wake of His Niece’s Murder [Photos]

Adam Housely and wife Tamera Mowry-Housley are mourning the loss of their niece who was tragically gunned-down in a mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California last week.

In the wake of their tragedy, the former Fox News correspondent is being reminded of insensitive and racist comments he made in the aftermath of slain teen Trayvon Martin’s tragic death in 2012.

The Shade Room posted (and deleted) the following exchange between Adam and a commenter in which Adam admitted to saying Trayvon “brought his own death to himself” before he had all the facts.

If you recall, most of the national conversation in the aftermath of Trayvon’s death became about gun violence, protests, racism, and the systemic mistreatment of people of color.

Adam and his Fox News counterparts were adamant in their belief that race didn’t a factor in Trayvon’s death.

On Monday, Adam sent a message with the ladies of ‘The View’ calling attention to “the judgement, the polarization, and the lack of heart” he’s witnessed following his niece’s murder.

“‘While we’re helping these gun laws and trying to make that happen, before we can even get a consistent national gun policy, we have to understand that we as a country and as a society are at a crossroads. The hatred, the judgment, the polarization and the lack of heart. We are going to make a change I can guarantee it, and Alaina is with us as we do this.'”

It wasn’t long before people began digging up his old tweets (above) and called him out for the same type of judgement and ‘lack of heart.’
