Steve Harvey decided to trick out a private jet but then allegedly decided not to go through with the deal AFTER the company made all of his modifications — and now he’s being sued.
Business Aircraft Leasing claims the “Family Feud” star made a deal back in April to lease a Gulfstream G-IVSP S/N 1289. But standard features weren’t enough, according to the company … Steve wanted the interior modified to the tune of more than $400k … of which he’d pay half, according to the company.
As for what Steve wanted … custom carpet, a reconfiguration of the interior cabin from 16 seats to 14 seats, custom seat design and new upper and lower cabin sidewalls. The company says all the modifications were made in reliance of the contract.
Short story … Steve allegedly had a change of heart, never leased the jet and the company is on the hook for the improvements.
The jet company wants $205k minimum.
At least he’s not getting sued for the whole amount! Silver lining.
